I studied the importance of hierarchy of type and image through creating a poster for the Three Rivers Film Festival. In this project, I explored the different levels of informational hierarchy by communicating importance through size, weight, position, and color of the text as well with manipulating the image that goes with the poster.  

I started off with singular changes to the information I was given. From there, I buiIt on these singular changes to decide on what parts of the information I wanted to emphasize and how I would bring that forward in terms of informational hierarchy.
